Venetian style eye bead necklace in cobalt and pale blue glass, strung with small brass spacers. A classic African trade bead strand with the protective eye motif repeated all the way around.
Every bead carries rings of red, white, yellow and blue dots applied by hand over a blue glass body — the deeper cobalt beads and the softer sky blue ones alternate so the strand reads as two tones at a glance. Two small striped red, white and black beads mark the ends, finished with a gold-tone lobster clasp on braided cord that's easy to fasten one-handed.
